Built by practitioners.
For practitioners.

STOMP is not a startup idea. It is the product of 17 years of practical work in responsible tourism — built by people who have operated tours, sat with communities, and know exactly what tour operators actually need.

A 17-year journey to transparency

Ethical Travel Portal was founded in Norway in 2007 with a simple but ambitious goal: to make tourism more ethical, more transparent, and more beneficial to the people who live in the places travellers visit.

For over a decade, founders Linda and Raj worked directly with tour operators, destinations, and communities across Asia, Africa, and Europe — learning, from the inside, what works and what doesn't.

The core problem they kept encountering: operators who were deeply ethical, locally embedded, and genuinely impactful — but had no way to show this to travellers. They lacked the tools, time, and resources to demonstrate their transparency.

STOMP is the answer. Built from real experience. Designed for real operators. Delivered as an affordable, AI-powered SaaS platform that puts transparency at the centre of every itinerary.
